FAQs

Q: How much does it cost? Is there a monthly fee?

A: It is a flat fee of $59 for Individuals and a flat fee of $99 for Couples. There are no monthly fees and your payment information is not stored.

Q: Are you a credit repair company or person?

A: That’s a good question! No, I am not “credit repair.” I am a Board Certified Credit Consultant. I do not charge a monthly fee, and I also do not make promises to remove negative accounts from your report because that is not a promise I or anybody can keep. While I WILL help you dispute inaccurate or fraudulent accounts, my main goal is to find the fastest way to increase your score the most, while I educate you on how to most effectively handle remaining collections. You should be left with a clear understanding of how to build and maintain great credit.

Q: How long does it take?

A: Cleaning up and building credit is not an overnight process, and every credit profile is different, so it's difficult to say how long it will take to reach your desired credit score. Creditors report to the credit bureaus once a month, not in real time, and certainly not on our time, with that being said, I usually see some changes in within 30-45 days.

Q: The debt belongs to my ex-wife. She was suppose to make the payments. That should simply be deleted, right?

A: No. Creditors and the credit bureaus do not care about your personal arrangements as far as to whom the debt actually belongs to. If you both sign, it belongs to both of you. The only way to handle that is in court, with documentation to remove one party from the loan.

Q: Can you just delete everything? That is how this works, right?

A: No. I work according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act laws (FCRA) which state that you have the right as a consumer to dispute inaccurate and obsolete information on your credit report. Simply put, if we can prove that the debt is inaccurate, they must update it correctly or remove it all together. Also, my method is to teach you what to do with the accounts that can not be deleted, rather than focusing on frivolous attempts to delete negative accounts that do belong to you, because 9/10 the credit bureaus will not delete them.

Q: Why do I need to send you my reports from AnnualCreditReport.com? It's easier to just send you my Credit Karma or Experian login.

A: While Credit Karma and Experian are super easy and quick for you to read, they do not show all of the complete details like Annual Credit Report. When I look at your credit report, I am looking for many pieces of information, such as report dates, collection dates, first delinquency dates, expiration dates, missed payment dates, high balances, credit limits and the dates they increased/decreased. This is not available in full on the popular websites. Please keep in mind, there is no inquiry to your report when you pull from Annual Credit Report, and it costs nothing.

Q: Do you have to share my increases on social media?

A: Absolutely not. If you give me great news, I will ask permission to celebrate you on my Facebook page as a marketing tool. However, if you prefer that I do not, that is fine! I respect your privacy.

Q: How long have you been in this business?

A: I have been working in the credit industry for 8 years. I started out with a large company, then became Board Certified in 2021 and now work for myself.

Q: Do you sell my information?

A: Absolutely not. Your information is private and will never be sold or shared. I don't even know who to sell it to, now that you mention it.....

Q: What is your process?

A: Once you sign up, I will have you email me your 3 credit reports from Annual Credit Report. I will then create your Complete Step by Step Credit Game Plan so you know exactly what needs to be done on your end to improve your credit. I will also send you links to credit building accounts that will help you improve your credit profile. My goal is to keep this process as simple as possible for you. See "My Process" for further details.
